Before I begin, please go enter the "Feel the Love" Giveaway on Morgan's blog! I'm personally giving away $20 to Starbucks plus a copy of Chicken Soup for the Soul: Hooked on Hockey. There are 12 different prizes and 12 different winners!
Now for life updates... Between work, M, family, Louie, friends and finding me time, I know that something has got to give in my life, so I've only been blogging on occasion since Christmas time. As much as I love to blog, I would rather not blog than blog about something "fluffy." Re-reading {av}'s post reminds me to get real about my priorities in life. Forced blogging does not coincide with just being.
Next up, work has been insane lately, but really good insane. I can't wait to share with you all what happened over the weekend. Working almost an 11-hour day on Saturday was completely worth it and reaffirms that I'm exactly where I want to be in my career.
Then I just need to say a giant thank you to M. Coming home from a 36-hour whirlwind of a trip to a cleaned apartment (like bathroom scrubbed clean) and a freshly baked Funfetti cake with rainbow chip frosting, I was reminded of how lucky I am to have M in my life. Thank you for being so supportive of me and my job and of our life together.
Lots of exciting things coming up in the next few weeks, including a trip up to Boston to see some of my favorite people! Stay tuned for more details on the very cool work event that I had!

I couldn't agree more with her post. Quality > Quantity :)

So glad things are going well for you Amanda! Can't wait to hear about your work adventure :) I can't imagine being truly in love with my job, that is indeed a blessing. Don't get me wrong, I am so happy to have a job and be able to provide for my family, it just doesn't feed my soul too :)
I haven't been blogging as much either, part of my "taking care of me and de-stressing" movement :)
Have a blessed week my dear friend!
Ah! I want to hear alllll about it!! I'm so glad that you are where you are supposed to be! I'm positive they feel really lucky to have you.
And, I definitely feel you on the fluffy blogging. You should write about what YOU want to write about and what you've been inspired to write about...not something obligatory.
Loves.
Mmm funfetti cake :) Got to get my boyfriend in the kitchen haha.
So glad your Saturday reaffirmed that you are on the right track careerwise! That's great! And girl, I definitely agree - blog when you have something to say, not just to meet a quota. :)
Glad to hear life is busy but good...and that's the way you like it...and M really is quite the catch!
