Some of you may know this, and some of you may not, but I am not a makeup person. There are sometimes weeks that go by without me ever putting on even eyeliner or mascara, but I've become a convert for something when it comes to my face: BB Cream.
Yes, I'm way behind on this trend, but after reading several posts from close friends in the blog world and trying a sample, I made my first purchase. I have highly sensitive skin and used to battle some severe acne, so once I find something that I like and that works, I'm hooked.
First, I put on Clinique's Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector. I have to agree with others who find that if you don't use it every day, it doesn't fully work.
L'Oreal's Youth Code Serum Intense to my skin. Whether or not this is helping with anti-aging, it feels amazing on my skin underneath my moisturizer.
L'Oreal's RevitaLift Anti-Wrinkle + Firming SPF 30 Day Lotion mixed with L'Oreal's Magic Skin Beauitfier BB Cream.
I know, I know, all of you beauty fanatics are thinking that I'm crazy for mixing two products, but the BB Cream was not moisturizing enough, plus it doesn't have SPF. As much as I love to being in the sun, I know the damage that the sun can cause, even in the winter, so I've made it habit to always have SPF in my face moisturizer. And I seriously love the evenness that my skin has after using the BB Cream.
And that's my skincare routine! However, there's exceptions to this...for the days when I go to the gym and get ready there for work. On those days, I needed something else to try. So I bought Garnier's Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream, which I can't exactly rave about...
I find that this BB Cream is a little too oily and feels too much like makeup. I did see an advertisement though that mentioned an "oil-free" version, so that has me interested in going back to Garnier when I run out of this one.
What are your face product choices? How do you feel about BB Cream?
