On Sunday night, M and I crossed off the second item on my list to complete before my 25th birthday. We had my parents and sister over for dinner for some delicious croquettes and fried chicken. (Yes, we own a deep fryer.) We decided on fried chicken because we were already going to have the fryer out for the croquettes, so why not just make an extra unhealthy, yet tasty meal? It was great getting to spend time with family and enjoy some delicious food. This is the recipe that we followed for the croquettes.

These look so good! Corey and I don't have a deep fryer. We didn't register for one just so we wouldn't be tempted to make tons of fried food - but sometimes I wish we had one for yummy appetizers.
Looks delish! And congrats on crossing another item off your list! I'm so, so afraid of deep frying. I guess it's probably good for my hips, but a true shame for my taste buds.
yum yum yum
Oh man. That is something that I NEED to own when I move out. No way my family would let me buy and use my own deep fryer.
Haha, I'm torn. I'd love to own/use a fryer. I don't know if I'd love my waistline after a few months. Kudos to you for awesome self control!
Sometimes you just need to indulge a little! And when you bring the deep fryer out, you tend to start frying everything in sight so it's completely understandable.
Croquettes sound fun. I haven't thought about try to make those!
