| Taken in our condo complex tonight. Probably one of my favorite snow photos. |
Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening
By Robert Frost
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

How's NaNoWriMo going?! Are you spending like 2 hours per day on that? I'm very impressed! :)

snow!? already!? eek! winter!
I love your picture of snow! I'm so sad I won't be seeing any this year because I can't go skiing. Maybe Austin will be blessed with a dusting of snow...
Wow that photo is so beautiful!
Beautiful! Both Photo and poem :)
I took a course on frost, and have always been a fan of his imagery. Now, Wallace Stevens? Hardest class on a poet I've ever taken.
what a beautiful picture of the first snowfall...can't wait to hear how he did in his first snow.
Such a pretty photo! And a lovely poem. :)
