| last night at PT with a hot pack on my calf |
In light of these events, and permission to continue biking, ellipticalling, and strength training, I hit the gym this morning. And now I'm feeling extremely grateful.
I'm grateful...
...that I get to workout again.
...that I'm making progress on my novel, even if it's only a couple hundred words a day, it's still more words than no words.
...that my sister and I have gotten so close lately. I guess it's the whole we're growing up thing and don't pick fights with each other.
...that my sister and I are going to be assistant chefs to my dad for Thanksgiving. Our best meals and the most laughs always happen when the three of us are in the kitchen.
...that I don't have to travel for holidays. I know so many people that have to take planes, trains or long car rides to get to their family, and I'm very lucky to only have to drive 3.5 miles to my parent's house.
...that I'm still loving my job. I was exhausted last night after yesterday's several hours of brainstorming, but nothing compares to feeling like you're making huge progress.
...that I have the best boyfriend.
...that my best friend comes home in a week.
...that the holiday season with traditions makes me happy.
What are you feeling grateful for? Do you help with Thanksgiving cooking?

Glad you're healing right up. I'm glad I only have 5 hours to drive and no planes either.

That is a wonderful list of things to be thankful for. It is great that you are getting to work out again and that you are making progress on your novel. I need to get a little more motivated like you.

I'm so glad that things are going so well for you! I hope that you will be able to get back to 100% soon! I usually help out with the Thanksgiving dinner... but I'm glad I'm not hosting! I think I would be super stressed out to be in charge!
So happy that you've got the go ahead to start working out again! I know that's something that you've missed so much!
