Falling Away {Almost Thanksgiving}

I can't believe that these are the last of the fall leaves here in Connecticut. I also can't believe that Thanksgiving is tomorrow. I mean, when did that happen? A year ago, we were getting ready for our big family vacation to Europe.

Fall in Paris

Now, we're home, and I'm hoping that it will be a relaxing holiday. M left last night to go home for the holiday, and now it's just me and Louie. We're going to be spending a few nights at my parent's house, which will be lots of fun. We're cooking a big meal, as usual, then continuing with some other family traditions. I'm excited to spend time with my parents and sister and extended family.

This year, Thanksgiving night will be spent on the couch watching The Incredibles and football. Hopefully, Louie will sit quietly on my lap, although he'll probably be wanting to play with Whiskey (my sister's puppy) instead.

Here's to hoping you all have an absolutely wonderful holiday! Do you have any family traditions? Do you have to travel to see family?

Have an amazing holiday, relaxing with your family!

I love that you and M can do your own things, save the sharing holiday complicatedness for when you're married :)

Happy Thanksgiving to you my favorite bloggy friend! That sounds like a perfect Turkey Day. We do not travel since we have kids so it's nice to be at my house and then my in-laws (they live in the same town) and my BIL and SIL come in town too. So it's a good time!

Aww I'm sad you and M have to spend the holiday apart, but that does make it easier to spend it with both families!
