That Time We Left the Game {Yanks vs. Red Sox}

Tuesday night, we did something spontaneous. If you haven't picked up on it already, I'm a huge planner and rarely do anything last minute on a "school night". So when our friend J offered up $7 tickets to watch the Yankees kick some butt, how could we say no?

I didn't let the boot stop me from having some fun up in the nosebleeds.

And T even decided to use my feet for her photographing pleasure...
And for the drunk guy sitting in front of us, to answer your question, NO I'm not going skiing, thank you.

We took some fun photos too. And drank over-priced beers. And ate hot dogs, sausages, and Cracker Jacks. Yes, we did.

Overall, it was a fantastic night...well except for the fact that we left the game. Yes, the Yankees won that night, but we left right before the Yanks tied it up. So as we're walking to the train, we hear cheers and turn around to see the score go to 3-3. Fail. J won't ever let us live that down, nor will some of my co-workers.

Are you spontaneous?

P.S. Go Yankees!

P.P.S. This was M and I's fourth Yankee/Sox game, and we're harmoniously living in a house divided.

Oh man can't believe you left that game early! But I must confess as we watched it on tv at home, when the Red Sox scored the extra home run in the top of the 9th I said to turn it off that it was done, but my husband said every time he does that they come back and win so we continued to watch and low and behold they came back and tied it!!! It did go on for a quite a while though so I could see that being a long night out on a 'school' night :-)

ps, how in the world did you get $7 tickets to a Yankees/Red Socks game even in the nosebleed section!!! That's crazy!!!!

Awww that is so cool! So glad you decided to go to the game even though the "boot" might not make it easy. Way to be a fan :)

Sounds like such a fun night! Especially since it was spontaneous :) I'm totally not spontaneous AT ALL. I always have a schedule and don't like to veer from it, lol. I know my husband wishes I was more spontaneous but now that we have the baby it's just not going to happen.

Such a fun time!! I like to plan big things, but am pretty spontaneous. Some of our most fun memories are those that were not planned :)

I love that you spontaneously went to this game! I'm not very spontaneous, but the rare times we go do something randomly it is so invigorating! I need to work on being more spontaneous. Did I just make a plan to be spontaneous?! Yikes.
