Dear M,
Happy freaking birthday! Even though this is only the second birthday we're spending together, I know it's going to be a great one. It feels like we've been celebrating a lot longer than just two. Hopefully Louie will be very have today and wake you up with lots of puppy kisses. I can't tell you how lucky I feel to be in your life. You made my birthday so special this year, even if I was mostly cranky the whole day. And you make me so happy every single day. Fortunately, it's a Monday, and we have the day off to do whatever you want! I hope you know how loved you are, not by just me, or Louie, but by everyone in your life. You're the best!
