So I'm asking all of my runner friends to help me out today! I polled a few of you on Twitter the other day, but I'm trying to figure out which GPS watch to purchase still.
I'm hoping to not spend more than $250 and am willing to go the eBay route, if necessary. I've narrowed myself down to a Garmin, but still am unsure of which one. Any and all recommendations welcome!

Mr C is IN LOVE with his Garmin! I will text you the model later if you're interested! It will change your life :)
My future hubby uses his garmin watch religiously! I believe it is Forerunner® 310XT which is just at your budget. That sucks that map my run didnt work. If you're still interested in a good iPhone app, I use iRunner and it is very accurate everytime.
The 210. The other Garmins have other features you'll probably never use. And you can get it with heart rate monitor for $250. You don't have to have a heart rate monitor, but I got one for when and if I get pregnant...
good luck in your search
I like my Garmin Forerunner 405. It's accurate and pretty easy to use. They're selling on amazon right now for around $200.
I have a Garmin and love it! I have never had any issues with it. Do you have a Costco near you? They have Garmins go on sale for less than $200
I bought mine on ebay about 2 years ago for $250...and its been great! Although sometimes I find ebay to be a little sketchy.
I went the cheap route just to try them out at first. I have a Soleus 100. I love love it and it works great. DC Rainmaker has a blog where he reviews tons and tons of watches. Hope this helps!!
I use Nike + which is like $20 for a sensor.
I have the Garmin 405 and I love it - I'm pretty sure my hubby bought it off Amazon for around $250! Good luck, girl!
No recommendations! good luck!
Thanks for your comment yesterday I THINK (?) i've fixed it?
I use Nike+ $20 for the sensor and it fits in most nike shoes. I have found it is pretty accurate if you calibrate your runs. The first couple I did I had to recalibrate, but it seems to get used to the pace you run and calculate it correctly...at the end of my runs, if I know I went farther or shorter, I adjust it and I get the correct time and pace. You may want to start there for a small investment and see how you like it :).
I have the 405. You don't want to buy it off of EBay, you want to make sure yours is under the original warranty because you never know...mine stopped working only 6 months after I got it, but was replaced for free because of my warranty. It has a lot of features that a lot of people don't take advantage of, but if you're looking to do interval work or speed work, it's the best watch in my opinion.
