The Sole Men

One of the reasons that I'm really enjoying being a contributing writer for HooplaHa is that I get to talk to new people and research some fun topics! We featured a video of a local shoemaker on our site, and I went back to do a fun little Q&A to find out more about him and his business. I bet you couldn't guess what his favorite shoes to work on are...check it out here!

That is so cool that you are a freelance writer. I've always wanted to get into that world. You'll have to email me your tips and tricks. :)

that was a fun interview. i've never been inside the mind of a cobbler before. i can't imagine repairing someone's stinky gym shoes! why wouldn't you just buy new ones?

I agree with poptartyogini - I would just buy new shoes!

That's fun you're learing new things you wouldn't have otherwise!

Good Q&A, I can't believe people actually hand down sneakers. I guess it must be important to them.

I didn't know we still had shoemakers around. I wish mine could be fixed easily when they wear down
