5 months down in the year, already?! Phew time is flying! May certainly turned out to be a great month although I was not focusing on my goals. June is sure to prove to be busy (since we have plans literally every weekend of the month). As excited I am for everything that's happening in our lives, I think July will prove to have more relaxing weekends. I'm linking up with Meghan, Lori, Meghan, and Whitney again to share what I've accomplished for the month. Here are my posts for January, February, March, April, and the year.
- Be happy. Happy is an understatement for this month! I got to spend time with blog friends, M, family, and just enjoy being me.
- Relax more. I took a random day off to spend with some fabulous bloggers in the city. It was just what I needed to relax. Plus the Maine trip helped relax my mind too!
- Write. I'm now a regular contributing writer for HooplaHa and loving it! It's really reminding me of how much I love writing and having a deadline.
- Read at least one book a month. I read 1: Fifty Shades Freed.
- Cook a new recipe once a month. (Homemade Pizza, Amanda's Spaghetti Squash Mush)
- No shop months. June is supposed to be a no shop month, but I'm not sure if that's going to happen with the move and puppy arriving.
- Give once a month. I donated more clothes than I can imagine, and I donated money to some of the causes at the checkout in stores.
I feel like the month simply flew by, and I'm not even sure what other accomplishments I can check off my lists. Womp womp. My mind is in moving and shaking mode (plus puppy mode), so I may have to revisit the whole extra accomplishments next month. How are you doing on your goals for the year?

You just HAVE to buy stuff for puppy ;)
I still can't get over how cute he is!
Glad that you're meeting your goals, girl!
And that you're so busy...you'll appreciate the relaxing more when it gets here!
Happy Tuesday!
xo
I think you did really well...and yes May flew by and June is going to be just as fast!
Sounds super productive

Good luck with the no shop! I like that and may have to copy :)
I'm still really impressed with anyone who can do a no shop month! it can't be easy.
and good luck with new recipes :)
have a lovely June!
Sounds like you had a great May and accomplished a lot!
I didn't know the fifty shades books were already made. That lady writes fast.
Those are all great goals. I love some homemade pizza, haven't had any in forever.
Whew, I know what you mean, this year is flying by! I need to go through my closet and donate some clothes. Maybe this month I'll get that done!
I've been dying to try homemade pizza! Yeah for writing!
Love that you are giving freely! That really is such a blessing! You are so sweet...I love your heart!
May sounds like it was a good month. I don't suppose June would be appropriate for a no spend month. Maybe a just spend wisely month. Keep the Louie pictures coming. I love it!
Its a no shop pay period for me. I do every other pay period. So much easier. And I don't feel like I have to go a whole month! ;)
This is such a great activity. I'd like to try and get in on it next year. But then again why wait? I'll have to start thinking now about some goals I want to carry out long term. It's great to list them out like this. I tend to be a "out of sight out of mind" kind of person and forget how far I really have come.
Congrats on continuing to make your goals a reality :)
Girl, sounds like such a great month! :) I love it!
You are doing so good with your accomplishments every month! But I think that you are going to break down on the no shopping June... you need to spoil your adorable fur baby!!
You're reading the Fifty Shades books too? They are juicy, but I want to punch Christian. Can they make new books starring Elliot?? lol
may passed RIGHT before my eyes. and i cannot wait to hear more about the puppers!!
Thanks for linking up! I love your goals - I think we could all stand to be happy and live in the moment!
And I loved your HooplaHa article!
YAY for writing :)
