He's Here!
After over 13 hours of moving on Saturday, plus more on Sunday, then waiting far too long at the airport, our fur-child has arrived! Meet King Louie, but he's called Louie for short. Almost 5 months of Dalmatian perfection!
I have to admit that I cried the entire drive to work this morning after listening to him whine when I put him in his crate. But I'll be counting down the minutes until lunchtime to take him out again. He's definitely already super attached to M, but still knows me and gives me kisses. He's also got a great stride, so he's going to be perfect to run with once he's full grown! Finally, a dog I can going running with!

Aww, Louie is adorable! When I firt got Georgie it was hard to leave her meowing when I left for work. I looked at pictures of her during the day, haha! It's great coming home to a pet excited to see you though!

So adorable!!! I used to cry when we were crate training Riley. I hated leaving him locked up but itvreally helped with housebreaking and now he has the run of the house! Congrats on your new addition!!

oh Louie. you are awesome!! and I totally feel for ya with the crate. that is the hardest thing ever. our lab is just a year old, so it wasn't that long ago that I had to do it. ugh. hated it. now he roams the house all day ... it still sucks leaving him every day. why can't we be stay at home dog moms??
