Stop, Drop and Read!

Happy Thursday! Did you know that today is Drop Everything And Read Day? No? Well, go checkout HooplaHa for some ideas for what I think are happy reasons to drop what you're doing and read something! This is my second story for HooplaHa, and I appreciate all your support on my first story, "The Grateful Game."

I'm proud to say that I read almost everyday. A little poetry for you there. The English lit major in me can't help herself. Great article and I hope everyone takes your advice today!

I'm actually reading The Greatest Show on Earth: The Evidence for Evolution by Richard Dawkins which I got from the library a few days ago. It is hard to find good recent books at my library, so many classics (non-fiction or fiction) that they lack.

I loved your story! I hate how much time I spend in front of the computer these days... I would much rather be reading! I like that it's been summery weather outside, because then I only want to read a book or a magazine as I lay by the pool :)

Drop everything and read? Sounds like business as usual for me haha. Great idea for a theme day though!
