St. Patty's, Only a Week Late

M and I
So for some odd reason, my hometown had their parade a week after actual St. Patrick's Day this year. But if it means continuing to celebrate (and day drink), I'm not complaining. Yesterday, I referenced being too busy to write a blog post, well that's mostly because I spent Sunday enjoying beer, jello shots, pizza, and Chinese food. Ready for some photographic evidence?
T and I (with J photo-bombing)
Z, me, and T (the hat fell right over my face the second the picture was taken)
And how could we forget the many trays of jello shots?
Do you celebrate St. Patty's Day? Some photos aren't exactly blog worthy, so those will remain hidden on my computer. I hope you're having a great Tuesday!

oh lady, i was in vegas this weekend so most of my pictures need to stay "hidden". glad you had fun! (i had to skip st. patty's day this year, because it was the day before the marathon...but next year i say trays of jello shots are a MUST)

I don't really celebrate besides wearing green.

Haha, a week isn't too bad. Also I'm digging the black and white with the green.

I think the Irish would be very, very proud that your town continues to celebrate well after saint Patrick's day. It looks like you had a blast!

And I agree with some of the other comments - I'd love to see the "un-blogworthy" picture haha!

Happy Tuesday, girl!

So, given that my last name is McAuley...I am kind of Irish. Growing up, St. Patrick's day was just as big of a deal in our family as Christmas was. We would have HUGE celebrations with our whole extended family- everyone would fly in, we'd break out the guitars and the baby grands and there would be Irish music with everyone singing. This year I was recovering from surgery so I didn't go :( but I suppose I just have next year to look forward to!!!!

Your pictures look so fun! Love the green.

LOVE the green photo effect, I wonder if I can do that with iPhoto. You look so cute in all your photos!

We also had an irish parade this past weekend, it was fun to prolong the celebrating :)

You just made me realize that I have never once tried a jello shot. What is WRONG with me? I have partied so much in my life that I'm appalled at this. Must remedy that.

I can't really drink anymore, but day drinking works, since I get to sleep it off! Gotta love jello shots!!

I love St. Patty's Day! My brother has a huge party, which is perfect because he lives out in the burbs, and Chicago gets CRAZY each year!

I think I celebrated by reading more papers. Yay, so much fun. ._.

Haha, I wonder why they did it a week late? Oh well - it just spreads out the celebrations! I like what you did with your photos!
