- Be happy. Despite the roller coaster of the month, I felt truly happy. Especially, with M moving in and ending the long distance!
- Relax more. I actually went to get a manicure, but also spent the time to paint my own nails for a full mani/pedi. Having freshly painted nails surprisingly helps me to relax.
- Write. I have a new secret writing partner! She and I are working together to motivate each other and edit our work by certain dates each month.
- Read at least one book a month. I read 1: Be the Miracle.
- Cook a new recipe once a month. (Baked Tofu Triangles, M&A's Homemade Pizza, Spicy Pasta)
- No shop months. I was allowed to shop this month, but didn't do too much damage...
- Give once a month. I donated money to Rebecca's cause.
Extra Accomplishments for the Month:
- Ran two more races - Gridiron Classic 4M, Al Gordon Classic 4M
- Stuck to my half marathon training plan by supplementing running for biking, per doctor's orders
So much happened in February, yet, it doesn't seem like I accomplished all that much. But when I put into perspective everything that went on, I realize that something big happened. M moved in, and our world together finally merged into the same place. That is more than I could have asked for.

You're doing great with your goals! I agree that painting my nails is so relaxing. I need to set aside time to do that more. I used to be really good at it but have neglected my poor nails lately :(
You had a wonderful month! I hope March has even better things in store as well. You definitely have to take a step back sometime and really look at all you have accomplished!
February did fly by but yes you did accomplish a lot when you look at it all written down. Here's to a good March! :)
Sounds like a great month!! It always seems like you do more when you write it all down! I like the idea of giving very month...I need to clean out my closet and donate books and clothes this March!
You go girl- WORK IT
What an amazing month. You did so much. Please posting the titles of the books you read. I'm always on the hunt for a good read. Here's to march. A new month full of endless possibilities!
great job, girlie!
I also made February a "no shop" month. I caved last week and ordered a few things online, but it felt good while it lasted! So glad that you feel like things are falling into place :)
Yes, I feel like this past February must be the best month in the world for you because M and you are now living together :)
be happy we need to find out how to function well
I am a new reader but love your blog. I am goal oriented and love making lists, and going back and reviewing each month so your post was totally awesome to see! :) I bet you're going to have more amazing months now that your boy is with you!
Such great goals Amanda...and here's to a fresh start with a new month!
reading about your running seriously makes me want to get back into it right now!
Your are doing great with all your goals! Congrats on all the wonderful accomplishments in February! And the best part is you ended the long distance!
You are doing really well with your goals! I really like your goal to give once a month!
Way to go on what you've done. My daughter is participating in reading 100 books in2012. I'll never do that so my goal was 2 books per month. In January I read 2 and 1/2 books and in February I read another 2 1/2 books...not bad to have read 5 books so far in 2012.
Grrrreat list! I need an equal writing partner. I have one but she's a little more experienced than me so I don't always like tasking her with all my questions.
Your right though THE biggest thing that happened in Feb is your forever :-)
Sounds like you're doing great, keep it up!!! I know I've slacked off my my goals but they aren't out of reach so I'll get to them soon.
These sound like great goals! I need to get in on some of these.
Can't wait for the new recipes!
I love the give goal! That is the best feeling...to give selflessly!
Good job with your goals, you are doing an amazing job!
Do you & your writing buddy follow a specific plan or are you just inspiring each other?
Congratulations on accomplishing goals. That's great! And once again yayy for M moving in!! It'm so excited for you guys.
I uh, got above class average on a midterm? That's something right?
Congratulations! What an exciting month!!!
So glad you linked up for this! Lori is my friend in real life and she was so excited about the new link up. Congrats on your goals though that is awesome!
Good job, girlfriend! That sounds like a LOT of accomplishments ;) I want to start writing more. I also want to compile all of my old writing.
YOU GO GIRL!
(i've sort of always wanted to say that. seems totally appropriate)
YOU are amazzzzzing! And you inspire me, Amanda! Today I'm going to work out, paint my nails, and do things that I enjoy to make me HAPPY!
Although I must admit. I worked out of town Wed and Thur so I was able to do a little shopping. That definitely made me happy! I even grabbed a couple bottles of nail polish.. which I will be using today :)
Your kicking ace with your goals woman! I need you to motivate me :)
Wow what a successful month!!! I need to do more recapping. Good luck with March. Also, I've had 2 awesome dates with a new boy....
