Good morning friends! I am bright-eyed and bushy-tailed because today starts a great new start for me! Your simple girl will be heading into her new career shortly and is quite excited!
As much as I have a big smile on my face, my nerves are at a boiling point. You never know how first days are going to go, so even with my increased ability to go with the flow, the "what ifs" still run through my mind.
Thank you for all your sweet and encouraging comments on Friday! They made my day and have kept me smiling, but now I'm asking your advice. Any good tips for first days or weeks at a new job? I thank you all in advance, and I can't wait to fill you in on how it goes!
P.S. A big thanks to my parents, M, and close friends for being so supportive throughout this transition!

Have fun and good luck! I always like to think that the first 2 days aren't a big deal because you're kind of expected not to know anything (if it's something new), but after the initial training days, that's when my nerves set in because it's like 'ok, I should know this by now!"
My tip? Don't be afraid to ask for help or say you don't know how to do something. :)

yay your first day! My tip - be really personable with everyone and don't be afraid to ask people what their names are again. It's not bad to ask the first few days, but it can be embarrassing a couple weeks into the job! I know you're going to do great! :)

I hope you're having a fabulous first day! When my nerves are out of control, I take a quiet moment to myself to sit and visualize how fabulous the event/day/whatever I'm nervous about is going to go. :)

My advice is to be yourself and dress up in great outfits. You can never go wrong when you feel good about how you look.

Advice? Hmmm... I know it's been said a lot, but just be yourself. How can anyone not warm up to you? First impressions do last, so try to make a good one, without making it seem that you're trying too hard. You can pull it off, I know :)
